Paintsight works with the major paint brands your crews already use. When you add paint details to a preview, you select the brand first, then enter the color code, color name, sheen, and any production notes. The brand selection determines the color code format the app expects and ensures the approval record matches the exact product your crew will order.

Sherwin-Williams

Color codes follow the format SW followed by four digits — for example, SW 6208 for Pewter Green. Always include the “SW” prefix when entering the code.

Benjamin Moore

Color codes use a letter prefix followed by a number — for example, HC-154 for Hale Navy or OC-17 for White Dove. The prefix identifies the collection.

Behr

Color codes are alphanumeric — for example, 790F-4. Enter the full code exactly as it appears on the paint chip.

Farrow & Ball

Color codes are numeric and preceded by No. — for example, No. 27 for Mole’s Breath. Include the “No.” prefix when entering the code.

Dulux

Dulux is widely used in international markets. Color code formats vary by region — check the paint chip or your local Dulux supplier for the correct code.
Brand support is limited to these five brands. If you use a brand not listed here, select the closest available brand and record the actual product name and code in the surface notes field so your crew has the correct reference.
New brands are added periodically. Check the brand selector in the app for the current list.
